About me
Hecho in Mexico, raised in the US. I've spent my career on the operations side of retail — stores, warehouses, and the accounts that fill them — and my evenings taking apart everything else.
How I work
Read the source before naming a cause. Separate what's verified from what's a hunch. Plain language over vendor jargon. Slow is fine; confidently wrong isn't.
Where I started
On a retail floor in 1999. Every role since has been the same job at a larger scale — more square footage, more people, bigger numbers, same fundamentals.
Off the clock
I build things that glow in racks — home dashboards, ESP32 displays, the occasional firmware fix. That whole world lives over here →
Family
Everything above this line is downstream of everything below it.
Where I come from
Son of Mexican immigrants who gave up everything they had so that my sister and I would have everything we needed to build a life here. Hecho in Mexico, raised in the US isn't a slogan I picked — it's the whole story, and I owe it to them.
My wife
Beautiful, understanding, and endlessly patient with the chaos my projects create. She puts up with a lot of it, usually with better humor than I deserve, and there is almost always a soldering iron somewhere it does not belong.
My boys
Three of them — bright, loud, and generous enough to tolerate my dad jokes. They are why the work matters, and why the garage light is still on long after bedtime.
